Anybody live there or know anything about Boise?

I got a job opportunity for MVS work for the State of Idaho. It's a long haul from South FL but we need a change!!

Any car shows there? or board members?

Lived in Pocatello, been to Boise a few times. Don't know much about the car scene there but it is a great place to live! Enough city life to enjoy and if you enjoy the outdoors it is heaven.

I have a good friend who moved from Mass to San Fran to Chicago to LA, and fianlly to Boise.  She loves it!  Reasonable housing and cost of living, outdoors lifestyle, great people.

Mike Sobotka lives near there,but i havent seen him on the board in quite awhile.It's a great area with nice people,very slow pace of life Take a week or two off amp; go visit!

Lotsa car folks. Spokane is fairly close by with tracks and lots more car guys. Lookout for the skinheads though!

Hey, thanks for the replies. I have heard that the cost of living there is relatively cheap. The wife and I are doing some research online. Heck, she is already picking out houses  

Frank, if and when I pursue this I will send you all the info. It's a nice 4/2 with a 2 car garage, screened in pool, brand new stamped concrete driveway (this week) with 2000 sq ft under air. When are you coming down next?
