i'm going to go with danzou, since he's been with the anbu for a while and he created a sub group.

Id say that Ebizou would be able to spit a ball of phlegm on Ebizou, before the latter can release his wheeze of grandpa breath, thus completely blinding him.
He may then use Danzou's stick to thwqack him on his nuts thereby killing the latter.Ebizou for the win.

Ebizou=Chiyo's brother? In that case it's one of Sand's legendaries, against someone who may not even be a ninja as far as we know. With out current info, Ebizou wins.

If Ebizou is someone else then I guess.. uhh.. well Ebizou wins anyway. BECAUSE DANZOU IS OBITO WHO GOT OWNED BY ARMLESS DEIDARA!

We now know that Danzou is like some super ANBU guy. But I still say Ebizou wins because he has two arms.

From the translations I have read, it never said Danzou is quot;some super ANBU guyquot;. It said he commanded a branch of ANBU.

So does that mean that he's an anbu commander?  He has to have some skills to rise up the ranks to become the commander of a branch, even if it's gone.

The Konoha elders are commanders in a way, but I doubt they're that good ninjas.
The feudal lords command soldiers, does that make them good warriors themselves?
No. Danzou could have commanded his ANBU branch through politics. At this point we don't know.

Ebizou, at least he attained legendary status...

I really have no clue....honestly.

I'm leaning more towards Danzou, just because he looks awesome. I think he's also fairly younger than Ebizou which gives him an advantage.

Seing as how Danzou may very well have been the rival of the 3rd in his prime, Im guessing Danzou.

Danzou or Ebizou.... No idea, they both are just lumpwhacks

But still, Danzou is all screwed up (look at his body - missing arm, blind spot)

If we consider Ebizou at the level of the lovely atomic hag Chiyo... Ebizou gets the trophy.

The sand has superior conservation skills as far as ancient people go.

I still see Danzou having some nasty jutsu up his sleeve, but he appears even worse off than Sarutobi, and he was not considered for the position of Hokage after Sarutobi's death, so he must have fallen from his prime.

If Ebizou is about the same level as Chiyo, then he should be able to win this. I doubt Danzou is still, or has ever been, near the Sandaime's level. Especially since he only has one arm.

Ya'll talkin 'bout Danzou bein disadvantaged with havin 1 arm and 1 eye...but I betcha if we ever see him in action (Tsunade vs. Danzou anyone? ) he's going to kick all types of ass!

So far, every old nin in Naruto has been spankin that ass (RIP Sandaime and Chiyo) don't underestimate Danzou just yet
