Is anyone making any repop rear quarters for a 72 skylark convertible? If not, can rear quarters from a hardtop be sliced and diced to make repairs?

The rear quarters that are on the car are ok except around the wheel openings. After searching on the forum, the hardtop and vert quarters are different, but how different are they if all I needed was solid metal to patch in around the wheel opening?

Rear inner fenders are also different in contour Perhaps the data base has some old pics.

Hardtop and convert quarters are interchangable from a point about 6" below the top edge down. Will work fine for your purposes.

As always...you guys are the greatest!!!!    Thankyou for your feedback. That's what I needed to know, now to call Tabco and order some quarters.
